Movement Ministries
Even though we have not officially launched The Movement, we are passionate about raising up the next generation as well as raising up other leaders. This is a guideline as to how we look at structuring our ministries.
Movement Kids (Birth to 5th Grade)
The Movement Church’s desire is to provide an excellent children’s ministry in a safe and environment where kids can learn about God’s love, faithfulness and compassion and have a whole lot of fun along the way!
We believe that the next generation is of the utmost importance. We celebrate God’s gift of the family and are dedicated to a ministry of prevention rather than intervention to prepare our kids for the future movement in their lives. The Movement Kids is here to infuse life in children through whatever they face. Just like The Movement Church is all about maturing people to be fully devoted followers of Christ, we believe that children can be as well.
Children are not only the church of tomorrow; they are also the church of today. We believe it is better to prepare a child than to repair an adult. We believe it is a great responsibility to train children in the teaching of God’s Word. That is why we will offer praise and worship, games and exciting lessons that will teach your child God’s Word in a way that they can understand and apply it to their lives!
Movement Students (6th to 12th Grade)
At The Movement Students our goal will be to lead our high school and junior high students into a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ. It is a place where teenagers will connect with each other and with God. During their meetings our plan is for students to experience real community, powerful worship, creative video, and relevant teaching. In addition to our weekly worship experiences, The Movement Church plans on having tons of opportunities for students to grow in their walk with God and live out their faith.
Movement Groups
In times of need and times of fun, Movement Groups are your source of friendship and support. They are your key to developing connections with those who share your interests or people who are dealing with similar life issues. Movement Groups are an opportunity to reach out to others, while growing in your walk with the Lord. Our small groups will meet throughout the week separate from the weekend services.
Movement Missions
Our goal at The Movement Church is to be a community of people who reach out into the community and also the nation and the world. We plan on having monthly outreach’s in Glenpool, Keifer, Liberty, Mounds, Bixby, Leonard, Tulsa and the surrounding communities. We also plan on supporting national groups of church planters and also missions who reach outside the US. Our goal will be to also send out people called into missions work and also people who feel called to plant churches. We want to give people the opportunity to make a huge difference and impact on the world for Jesus.
